Environmental Services The role of environmental health is to oversee and insure that a community has clean water, proper removal and treatment of sewage, proper management of waste, and food protection. Disease control surveillance is preformed in conjunction with the Department of Health and Environment Water testing and waste water inspections by Geary County Health Department.
