   Relay for Life is a national fund raising event for Cancer Research.  Every year a team from Morris County Hospital participates in the local event.

This years team raised $ 5,846.84.

Team Members: Tara Scarce, Tanner Messer, Corky Messer, Casey Johnston, Linda Pape, Janae Hill, Stephanie Frazier, Laverne Burton, Melissa Whitson, Kelsey Cooper, Dawn Palmquist, Caroline Vonfeldt, Brandy McDiffett, Ida Cole, Lori McDiffett, Ellen Boyce, Ashley Buchman.

The team held Garage sales in Council Grove and Dwight. Sold snacks for movie night in Alta Vista, had a food booth at Wa Shun Ga Days and for the Archery club.  They sold Luminaries and Raffle Tickets for a donated trip and an afghan.  They "Flushed Cancer Down the Drain" by placing decorated toilets in front  yards and businesses being paid to remove them in Council Grove, Alta Vista and Dwight.
